Whimsical September Wedding – Sam & Jesse @ West Laurel Hill Cemetery & Chapel of Peace, Bala Cynwyd, PA

“You are my today and all of my tomorrows.”

– LEO CHRISTOPHER

It was a perfect September wedding — one with autumn in the air and summer sunlight peaking through the trees to shine on two souls who have found their number one. Sam and Jesse’s vision for their wedding day included the old world Philadelphia architecture found in West Laurel Hill Cemetery combined with fun botanical aesthetics and ethereal inspired elements. These two multi-talented, multi-hyphenate creatives were so much fun — little details and fun moments everywhere that were a joy to capture. Their friends and family gathered from near and far (wearing some of the freakin’ coolest outfits ever and you may see a kilt or three!) to witness their first moments as a married couple and hear their vows of commitment and love. Sam is an incredibly talented artist who crafted many of her wedding details including illustrations, embroidery work, the flowers, make-up… I mean, she has more talent than anyone I’ve ever met. And Jesse’s kind heart and ability to lead and create friendships within minutes is truly a joy to watch. Without further ado, may I present to you Sam & Jesse’s wedding…

Sam & Jesse, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for choosing us to join you two on your wedding day adventures and create beautiful images for you that will be a part of your wedding story for years to come. May all your galactic adventures be #mossome! – Celia & Charles

Can you believe Sam hand-embroidered this amazing Mrs. jacket and this lovely and oh-so-perfect gift for her hair stylist? Thoughtful brides for the win! (Pssst — see more of her work here!)“I get by with a little help from my friends…” Do you know that Joe Cocker song? I always have it in my head when a bride receives help from her friends while getting ready (I may or may not have watched the Woodstock Documentary more than once). Sam receiving a little helping hand here because, well, being in the beauty industry means you have talent for daaaaaays in one room. Because you’re never too old for a game of bride ‘n seek. I mean, hide ‘n seek…Meanwhile, on the other side of town…  A beautiful first look location in the Chapel of Peace…
