When trying to come up with the perfect word to describe Brittainy and Ryan’s wedding day, only celestial words will do. Astralis means “relating to the stars,” and, on their wedding day, Brittainy & Ryan were pure astralis (and simply heavenly). The day began with getting ready at Philadelphia’s quintessential Logan Hotel; the groom-to-be and groomsmen were reminiscing and telling stories and the bride-to-be and bridesmaids were getting their glam on. Rachel Marvin Creative’s floral invitation suite set the tone for their spring wedding at Water Works at Cescaphe: romantic, modern, with fun botanical touches set against a classic color story of blush, ivory, black, and emerald green. Brittainy and Ryan’s sunny day engagement session was instantly a session that would go down as the ultimate summer engagement, and their wedding day was also the ultimate Philadelphia wedding. (In fact, if weddings were ever part of a March Madness, this wedding day would make it in the top picks — no doubt.)
From Brittainy and Ryan’s emotional first look in front of black and gold doors of Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul to their emotional walk down the aisle at Grand Pavilion at Water Works at Cescaphe (for those who feel that the walk down the aisle will be less emotional if you have a first look, here’s proof that it won’t!), to the fun “I Do Wedding Crew” photos at Rodin Museum complete with the perfect soundtrack that Brittainy and Ryan picked out during their shuttle rides around town. Their wedding day checked off everything you want a classic Philadelphia wedding day to be with friends, family, laughter, emotions, and style for days.
Brittainy and Ryan are the couple that you want to be friends with for life. Ryan is encouraging as a friend and as a coach — even when he’s off the court — for his friends and family. The way he gently coached his mother during dancing was truly touching and shows he has the gift of teaching at his very core. Brittainy’s sense of humor, sense of caring, and sense of style is a rare combination in this world. When you meet her, you’ll instantly want to be besties and talk about travel, business, and maybe discuss who your favorite Bravo-lebrity is. To see these two souls together is to truly understand the definition of true love and friendship, and what a gift it is to find the person you want to spend the rest of your life with –because these two have found their forever person for sure.
Brittainy and Ryan, thank you so much for the gift of capturing your day and it is always an honor to capture all wedding days, and your wedding day truly reminded us what a true privilege it is and what a true joy it is for people to find their soul mate — and forever-dance-partner. We loved your day and wish you many, many happy days in the years to come. With much love, appreciation, and gratitude, -Celia (& Charles!)
