Sweet Spring Philadelphia Engagement Session – Rachael & Scott @ Rodin Museum, Art Museum + Waterworks

May 24, 2017

“If I know what love is, it is because of you.”

They met in high school only to have the strings of fate bring them together a few years later when he was at Drexel University and she was at Temple University. Their ephemeral first impressions in high school gave way to a meaningful friendship, and Rachael and Scott would soon find that it was just the beginning of their journey together…

Fast forward a few years and 3,000 miles to San Francisco where Scott would ask Rachael for her hand as he would give her his heart to have forever. This sweet couple made their cloudy engagement session shiny and bright! Taking a cue from their travel wishlist to go to Europe, we found the most European-inspired and San Francisco-esque spots in Philadelphia to tell their story.

First stop, Rome to Trevi Fountain! (Okay, I know it’s not Trevi Fountain but we’ll dream a little, si?) And then to the mini-Palace of Fine Arts aka the Fairmount Waterworks gazebo with a quick stop to the very Philadelphian and incomparable Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. And last but not least, a quick stop to Paris via the Rodin Museum.

It was a wonderful session with a rockstar couple — Rachael and Scott, I cannot wait for your wedding day!

PS Do you love Rachael’s #slayallday dress? Because I do! Future couples, take note: If you love what you wear, then you’ll shine and look amazing. And props to Lauren from Trousseau Style for her tips, too (you must check her site out for amazing personal style advice!).
