“The value of an idea lies in the using of it.”
– THOMAS EDISON
Entrepreneurs have lots of ideas and while you can’t copyright an idea, you can protect yourself in how you structure your business to use your idea with your unique business process. And if you don’t know how to protect yourself? And this is all immediately overwhelming? That’s where Sam Vander Wielen comes in. Sam’s legal templates and training for business is invaluable and, best of all, her insight and story of how she came to build her business leaves other entrepreneurs feeling empowered. Like superhero empowered.
Want more than awesome templates for contracts and such? Sam has also created a “Fearless Femmepire” community for like-minded folks to share stories, help create resources, and also give people knowledge that’s way better than Googling “how not to get sued.” Eeks. Besides following her on Instagram @samvanderwielen, I’ve also had the pleasure of getting to know Sam on a personal basis and love her stories and feedback about business ideas. I don’t know where I’d be without her!
That said, I’m excited to share some images from our session AND share her blog posts that are faves of mine, too:
- “8 Ways Contracts Save Your Legal Tush” Not sure if your contract covers you? Read it!
- “Are Your Client Testimonials Legally Legit?” Oh, now THAT’S a good one! Especially for people who are starting out and will do free work to get testimonials… You need to read that.
- “Why Your Sales Calls Aren’t Converting (+ How to Turn It Around)” No brainer. We’ve all been there.
Sam, thank you for an amazing session and can’t wait for our next one! -Celia
